Southern Cross Care Qld is a not-for-profit organisation of over 1,000 staff who provide services for more than 2,000 people. Their network includes eleven aged care facilities, five retirement villages, and home care services across Queensland.
With a very manual onboarding process that was impeding their ability to provide the new employee experience they desired, Southern Cross Care Qld knew that there had to be a better way to make both the candidate experience and current processes a whole lot smoother, but just needed to find the right company and solution to meet their objectives.
With 750 new employees joining the organisation each year and anticipating significant growth in the year ahead, they wanted to be prepared.
Onboard Express helped Southern Cross Care Qld to implement new onboarding software that integrated with their recruitment system Jobadder and their IT middleware solution that pushed new employee data through to their Preceda payroll system at the click of a button. One of the biggest challenges Southern Cross Care Qld was encounting was securing talent in a highly competitive and candidate scarce market. They were losing out on candidates due to their manual onboarding processes.
